Our first couple of weeks back open have flown by! We’ve had a lovely time catching up with old friends of Winter’s Moon as well as chatting to lots of new people visiting the area. It’s been great hearing people say they’ve come down from London or further to have a mooch around our little city.

We’ve also had a fair few deliveries, meaning we can re-stock some of our favourite products, including our best-selling lamps!. Lots more lovely linen has just landed, including these gorgeous new linen napkin sets which will be put to good use with all the outdoor hosting going on. We are also rather taken with the enamel cake stand shown below - the easiest way to make cake with friends feel a little bit more special.

DISTRACTIONS & INSPIRATIONS

What we are reading, watching & enjoying just now

Reading: Small Pleasures, Clare Chambers> - An incredible book following Jean Swinney, a reporter for the North Kent Echo chasing a remarkable story about a Virgin Birth. Set in 1957, Sarah inhaled this over one weekend.

Listening: Helen McCrory on Desert Island Discs > Following the devastating news about one of our favourite actresses, we’ve been re-listening to her Desert Island Discs. Truly heart warming.

Watching: Promising Young WomanA dark comedy thriller that received multiple nominations on the awards scene, powerful performance by Carey Mulligan, written and directed by Emerald Fennell (aka Camilla from The Crown).

Thanks as always for reading & have a lovely weekend.
