Our story

Today, we thought we would do a little re-introduction to the lady behind the label.

Founded in 2009 by Julia Grant, Winter's Moon moved into in one of the prettiest shops in Chichester in 2020. No.29 North Street, was our new home. We had a great, if somewhat chilly, start to the year. It was enjoyable to have old and new customers come and see our beautiful new shop as well as push ourselves out of the comfort bubble. 

Then you-know-what happened. So we said a little goodbye and we'll be back to No.29. Our online shop kept us busy and as always a big thank you to everyone that bought from us during that tumultuous time. 

Fast forward to July and the door is open. 

We are an independent gift and homewares shop selling a colourful and interesting mix of vintage, modern, handmade and fair-trade goods. Many items are created exclusively for Winter's Moon and made here in the UK. One of our favourite elements of running Winter’s Moon is sourcing the beautiful and unique so you don’t have to. 

As things slowly start to open up again we hope to see you soon at No.29. 

Julia is also the co-founder of Design Collective Chichester, a friendly group set up to support design professionals in the Chichester area.
